Not be an apathetic person, but we have to admit that sometimes we do not know or do not want to know about the life out of our circle. A campaign bringing up by an independent organization, Save the Children, and a Denver recording band, Onerepublic, is trying to wake people up about one of the issues undergone by millions of children on earth.

Based on report of UNICEF, 7.6 million children died before their fifth birthday, most of them died because of the treatable and preventable causes. Actually, that number has been down about 25% from 1990, but still it is not enough. Moreover, 35 million more children under five at risk of mortality.

Every beat matters, beats of heart, beats of music.

Through a song titled “Feel Again” in Onerepublic’s new album, Native, Save the Children and Onerepublic is spreading the issue to wake awareness about children mortality and raise some fund. Ryan Tedder said all the proceeds from the first 750,000 downloads of the song on iTunes would go to Save the Children. So far, the song has been downloaded more than 600,000 times. This campaign definitely wants young people to take part in it. Are you down for it?
