Hiding on The Brain

Brain is the boss. No matter how hard heart pumps the blood, lungs filter the oxygen, legs, hands, nose, mouth, ears, eyes, skin, kidney, colon do their job, they can't replace the brain. Well, it kinda sound like a tyrant, but yeah, it kinda is. It controls everything from our body. Movement, emotion, thought, memory, everything. It is important and you need to honor and praise it.

In 2002, Olson Kundig Architecture created a project named 'The Brain'. It is a 14,280 cubic-foot cinematic laboratory, where an artist or a filmmaker can hide from the world, seek for ideas, incubate it, and have it ready to be executed. It is located in Seattle, United States of America, and it is exactly the place where your brain wants to be spoiled. Well yeah, for your brain, it is probably like a palace with giant throne where it can sit proudly.

Physically, it is only a garage like building. But conceptually it is way more than that. It is a place that is specially designed to attracts and captures inspiration. Green natural view from your two sided massive windows, books, light bulbs, super comfortable sofas, grand piano, just everything you need.

So if you think your brain is important (well, you obviously think with your brain, so it will definitely say so), you can visit this lab to spoon-feed it with ideas and inspiration.

Or better yet, you can create your own brain lab.

All Hail The Brain!
